Lies, tricks, deceit, and theft at Tresor Rare

Lies, tricks, deceit, and theft at Tresor Rare

The sales rep. lured me in by stopping me to give a friendly compliment. When in the store and in their net, she used "kindness," personal questions, and friendship, because after all, we are more likely to believe and buy from a "friend."

She applied eye cream and when the glue like stuff dried, it tightened the skin under the eye, and voila! The wrinkles are gone! She got so excited. What a vaudeville actor. Later when I washed off the glue, the skin was no longer taunt and smooth. Based on her sales demo, I bought eye creams like a fool. She didn't put the sales receipt in the tot bag because she had another surprise for me, and didn't want to spoil it by me examining the sales receipt to find the small print, NO REFUND and no exchanges without a sales receipt which she never gave me.

so afer another hour of sitting in the dunce chair with her applying more stuff on one half of my face, like a bigger fool, I purchased the BX products based on her assurance that it will increase collagen production and smooth out wrinkles. She drew diagrams of skin layers with small circles between the layers that plump up the skin layers. She claimed that the BX Skin Relaxor Cream and BX Skin Relaxor Thermal Mask will change the skin if I use it for one year and the results of that one year of use will last for 10 YEARS without buying more. She showed me a picture of her very wrinkled client, and then the same woman with smooth, glowing skin. Air brushed advertisement on her iphone but not the website. She said her client lived in my neighborhood, and I forgot to ask for her name. I am still looking for her, but I can't recognize her because without the glue goo she resembles a prune again.

When I realized that I had been scammed, I called to cancel. The owner refused to take back the unopened products. They all know this is a scam, and act like they are the victim of their scam. They act so very innocent and try to make you feel guilty. It is disgraceful what they do to trusting older people. They do this for fast money and successfully scam people by their lies, tricks, deceit, and theft.

The Better Business Bureau rating is "F" File with them to warn others.

Has anyone cancelled their monthly direct debit, what happens, i am worried because I signed a contract?

Guest

Let me know if you have any luck or need any statements from another who was also scammed!!

Guest

I too am a $9500 victim of their scam and am researching now about the company, retail stores, website and multiple website plus review websites. Why didn't I do this first...if only?

I was also lured into a store for a free product and 60 second demonstration. We were on vacation in this area of CA. We live in Florida.

I am looking at all resoures that I can find to pursue Tresor Rare and sue the heck out of them. Has anyone tried suing Tresor Rare for the fraudant products and not being able to get a refund?

We should do class action. They lie, cheat, and harass u into buying their product.

I’m still so upset and distraught over buying these products.

Just wanted to leave but they wouldn’t give up and kept badgering me even after I told them over and over I couldn’t afford it. How stupid I feel thinking I was only paying a few hundred to get away from them but it ended up thousands.

*** & Thieves!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Charged my mother $5,000 for their junk which she paid. Then they offered some masks, didn’t say how much they were, distracted us with fast talk, alcohol and *** and charged my card ANOTHER $10,000.

They are evil crooks.

They NEVER SAID HOW MUCH and I honestly believe they put something in the drink since I couldn’t remember anything afterward!! How can someone sleep at night taking advantage of people they caused to be of diminished capacity!!!!

Scary how they railroad you into it, now I have the worry of my card being ripped off and they also took a copy of my passport. Not happy with this whole experience.

I did ask for 24 hours for a cooling off period but it seems the stuff was sent immediately so by the time I contacted them to cancel it was already sent, don’t get that sort of service anywhere else. So you live and learn only glad that it was in installments and I can stop the payments, they will not get one morred cent out of me.

If your mother goes back for the facials she bought, I suggest you go with her because trust me, the high pressure sales tactics only get worse. Almost to the point of being scary with sales staff literally "getting in your face" and talking so excitedly it feels a little threatening. I'm out $15,000 and now they are trying to sell me another $36,000 of products, discounted to $18,000 because I'm so "special." Good luck!

HIGH pressure sales tactis, worthless EXPENSIVE Products

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Walked by the store and was given a free sample of a product. I was lured into the store and tried the eye cream product that looked good in store----DID NOT WORK AT HOME. I tried to leave the store several times and was PURSUED and HARASSSED until I gave in for a facial. Taken to the back of store and was told this person is sought after and booked months in advance and he told me he had worked for a plastic surgeon. Facial mask of their product was applied--'it seemed like every moment there were compliments and oh how the product changed my face etc. I ended up spending over 3000.00 in the store. I feel ashamed of myself and taken advantage of. I finally gave in to their high pressure sales tactic like a person would sign a false confession for a crime they did not commit. NONE of the products worked at home. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN GO IN THE STORE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I firmly believe that almost all of the good reviews posted are from employees of this business.

DO NOT BUY TRESOR RARE RIP OFF COMPANY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Tresor Rare south Molton street London are out to rip people off. After being pulled into their shop on South Molton street and being given the hard sell I purchased a face cream that I was told was the one they sampled on my face my two sisters and my mother.

On return home I tried the cream which they sold me which did nothing like the cream in the shop. I have been totally decepted by this company. Then to the internet it was shock horror to read that they scam people all over the world. STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

They will take your money, swap the goods at the time of sale and protect themselves by their dodgy refund policy which states no items can be considered for refund if the seal has been broken. How would you know you have been sold something totally different to the sample applied in the shop if you don’t open it. Since my purchase I have spoken to people across the globe from America to Spain that have been scanned by this company. South Molton street is considered part of Mayfair, the lavish shop is what fools people it certainly did us as I thought being such a prime location how could they be so fraudulent.

This is fraud with intent a criminal matter which I will be taking to trading standards and the police.

The company trades under Everest markething a company owned by Israeli nationals. This exact shop was selling oro gold last year as we was lured into it then but the products were 1000 so wasn’t an option for us.

Unprofessional, unprofessional, unprofessional

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Let me start off by saying, this product works! It is just the way it is sold.

They started off with the $700 price and then come down to 3 and then come down to 150 and if you're lucky enough you can buy it for 99 up the street. They stand outside this store and give it a carnival-like atmosphere for such a high end product it doesn't make sense. I was in the Bahamas in Nashua the stove is beautiful but the product should not have been sold that way. Thank God I only ended up paying $99 but was told that one application would last a week!

That is a blatant lie. You need one application a day. But like I said, it does work..... on the other hand you can get similar products online for a lot less.

I believe Previderm is available have used it in am very happy with the results, and it's much easier to buy. The sales people spoiled this product

Complaint

The sample girl in the Orland Square mall in Orland Park, Il. I have politely said “no thank you” on several occasions. I have asked her please don’t bother me, leave me alone, I have tried totally ignoring her. She continues to harass me. While I was waiting for my husband to park the car today. I noticed she doesn’t do this to everyone. If it happens again I am calling mall security I have no problem with being there. I just want be left alone.

No Instructions

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

While I was in Cabo last year, I got talked into getting a 'facial' from the representatives at Tresor Rare, although I said I would never use the product eventially I was talked into buying about $6,000 worth of product. Seeing as I wasn't going home for another month I never opened anything until I got back to Canada (I wasn't sure how I could get the product into the country if I had opened the product.

When I got home I unwrapped everything and the crazy thing was that not one of the products had any instructions, and for a woman who had never used any type of facial products this was very confusing! I live about four hours away from a major city so there was nobody I could ask for instructions!

After taking that kind of money from your consumers you'd think a person could go home and be able to try and figure out how to use the products! *** if I buy a $20 toaster there are instructions with that!

Hi, I am a representative for this company in the Midwest of the US. The unfortunate truth about buying products from the company if you don't live close to a physical location is that you aren't able to come back for continuous analysis and questions throughout the course of your at home treatment. Unfortunately I don't know the products that you purchased or I'd write the instructions for you right here in my reply but if you'd like to reply to me with a list of your products I would be more than happy to let you know how to use them.

In Maui and wife was talked into $6,000.00 of beauty products. They talk u into a free facial and sales pitch is.

I went back after finding out what the cost was and they refused to reimburse her. They talked her into a quote free facial served her wine and pitched there product. Really wine and a facial. They totally ruined our trip that it took me 2 years to pay for.

We plan to fill a law suit against these scam artist. If these people approach u run.

My wife bought this when I wasn't around. What a joke! Such a waste of money. Why are people so gullible that they think they can push back time. We all get old. We should do so with dignity rather than wasting money on nonsense!

High pressure sales, no written contract

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My experience at Treasor Rare, Barton Square Mall, Austin, TX An eye cream which did have an instant miraculous effect led me to give in to high pressure sales to buy 10 facials and two years worth of products for $15,000. Well, that was my choice, although probably not a great one. I do like their products however not too happy they did not give me a written list of products and services. They all have Italian accents and the accents increase and their understanding and grammar decrease the more you ask them for anything in writing. They do giive you a bagful of products and a color brochure of the prodoct line with a promise of free refills for two years. Four months later try to sell me A Cleopatra package regularly pricd at $36,000 for only $18,000 because i am so special and remind them of their Mom. With refills of products from brochure for two years. Now they say my original contract was refills for only five months. When I asked for a refill of a product they actually said" what, that huge bottle I gave you is already gone?" Then the manager and visiting medical director worked on me alternately eventually getting the Cleopatra package down to $6,900 and claiming they were throwing in their company "points" and bonuses. It was a cross between scary and funny. They completely resisted any attempt to get a written proposal and were insulted that i didnt trust them enough on their word. I left without upgrading and will try to stay on good terms as getting promised refills and free "gifts" is the only way to save any face with the money i spent. Good news i really do like the products.

Maui RIP off

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Went to visit Maui in Nov 2018. While at wharf was lured into beautiful looking store by young man who promised a great product.

Used "special" $700 eye cream to take away the wrinkles. Salesman was delightfully attentive, enthusiastic and full of conpliments. After hesitation with price used a cream to penetrate skin taking off excess damaged top layer with no scrubbing materials . Indicated initial price was 300 but as he was a top salesman would sell it for 199.

After hesitation ran to back of store and siad since he had pull he was able to offer for only 99, to which would be the price whenever I returned to buy in future, also indicating there were only three store locations in Vegas, Australia and Beverly Hills. Felt the pitch was just too good to be true and left the store, only to find two more within three blocks.

Total scam! DONT BUY!!!
