We were in Nassau, Bahamas on a cruise and were cornered by a salesman on the street that wanted to show me something. He put the eye cream on my eye and it tightened up. An hour later, I allowed him to pressure sell me into $2,000 of stuff...

I purchased Tresor Rare products and Elevare Gold device. Upon coming home, I found out that majority of the statements by the sales person were false.

The salesperson FALSELY stated no less than 10 times that a 15 minute treatment with Elevare will erase my face lines for 45 days. This is a COMPLETE LIE! In the store, the salesperson kept using it on my face and telling me what a huge difference he can see. I could not see ANY difference but he kept lying that itโ€™s very obvious and trying to make me feel stupid that I couldnโ€™t see it.

The TRUTH is that Elevareโ€™s website says it has to be used 3 times a week and it will take weeks to see any results. After using it for the last 3 weeks, I have ZERO results.

The salesperson FALSELY stated that one application of the 60 second eye lift lasts for several weeks. I specifically asked about it since most treatments like this last only a few hours. I explained that Iโ€™ve seen many videos about other products and customer comments that they only last couple hours. He replied that this product is not like those and it structurally changes the skin under your eyes so it lasts for weeks and has a permanent effect. This is a COMPLETE LIE and false medical claim!

The TRUTH is that it has very temporary effect and leaves you with crusty layer under the eyes that cracks and flakes off and I look like I have dried up toothpaste on my face.

Additionally, the stuff I was sold as 60 second lift has different consistency than what he used in the sore. Plus, after handling the tube couple times, the gold printing on the applicator rubbed off. This makes me question legitimacy of the product and whether it's counterfeit.

The salesperson FALSELY stated that the facial peel is peeling off a layer of the skin. This is a ridiculous statement and the truth is that the effect you see is the drying of the mask itself.

The salesperson FALSELY stated that he will give me a TWO year supply of the cosmetics. Upon opening all the boxes, it is evident that the packaging was designed to look a lot bigger than the actual amount of cosmetics. There is no way they will last 2 years or even a year if used them twice a day as directed.

The salesperson FALSELY stated that the cosmetics were made in Switzerland. The truth is that they are manufactured in a lab in USA.

The salesperson was very pushy and used pressure tactics to guilt us into spending the money. Constant statements that we shouldnโ€™t care about how much money we spend on our looks and that the appearance of your face is more important than other things in your life. I was made feel guilty for not wanting to buy the merchandize. For an hour, every attempt I made to say โ€œnoโ€ was met with more guilting on how I need to spend money on my looks.

Not once did anyone mention that there was no refunds. Upon my research, I see that hundreds of people have been scammed into these products under the same pretenses and the merchant hidden behind a โ€œno refundโ€ policy hidden on some sign somewhere in the store.

I have gone online and read hundreds of complaints on different websites about false claims and pressure tactics used in Tresore Rare stores.

I requested a refund of my purchase based on the fact that my purchase was done based on false advertising and false representation of the products. However, they have that "famous" no refund policy that somehow allows them to continue operating their business while scamming others from their money.

Lesson learned... Don't buy anything on vacation without doing a lot of research.

Reason of review: False statements and advertising.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Tresor Rare Bahamas Cons: High pressure sales tactics and deceitful marketing, Just an other rip off company, False statements and lies.

Your story shows that you have a legitimate case for fraudulent misrepresentation in court: A representation was made (in contract law, a representation is any action or conduct that can be turned into a statement of fact). The representation was false.

The representation, when made, was either known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth. The representation was made with the intention that the other party rely on it.

The other party did, in fact, rely on the representation. The other party suffered damages as a result of relying on the representation.
